If you prefer working out with others and enjoy belonging to a gym or a sports club, make sure that the gym or club which you choose boasts an inclusive, supportive and friendly environment. As if you’re able to make friends at your gym or as part of a sports club you’ll have people to help keep you on track to meet your fitness and health-related goals.

5. Focus on working out consistently instead of prolonged periods of time

It’s far wiser to complete 5-6, 60-minute workouts per week than to work out for 1.5 hours twice a week. So set yourself a goal of working out more consistently, instead of forcing yourself to complete, ultra long, grueling fitness sessions.

4. Don’t become obsessed with social media, smartphones or technology

While technology is incredibly useful and can make your everyday life a whole lot easier, in today’s technology-obsessed day and age many individuals have started to prioritize the social media apps on their phones over themselves, their friends and family.

If you always complain that you wish you had more time each day, simply limit the time which you spend on social media apps, turn off your smartphone and take steps towards meeting your goals. Also, make an effort to ignore your smartphone when you’re socializing or enjoying meals with friends and family members and watch your relationships flourish as a result.
